Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the weightpOp app and the weightpop.com website (together, the "Service"). weightpOp is operated by an individual developer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Who can use weightpOp
You must be at least 18 years old. The app is not intended for children or teenagers. If you are under 18, please talk to a parent and your doctor about healthy weight gain.
2. Not medical advice
weightpOp provides general wellness information and meal suggestions. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Calorie and nutrient figures are estimates. If you are underweight, pregnant, have a medical or eating-related condition, or take medication, talk to your doctor before using any plan. Stop and seek advice if you feel unwell. You are responsible for deciding what is right for your body, including allergies and dietary needs. Always check ingredients yourself.
3. Not for muscle building
weightpOp is designed for modest, healthy weight gain. It is not a bodybuilding or performance product, and we do not promise any particular result. Individual results vary.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at rafriv84@icloud.com if you think it has been used without your permission.
5. Photos and content you add
Private photos. Your profile picture and progress photos stay on your device unless you choose to share them. You keep ownership of everything you add.
Sharing photos on weightpop.com. If you choose to share a photo, you confirm that:
- the photo is of you, you are 18 or older, and you took it or have the right to share it;
- you are wearing a plain shirt and pants or shorts, with no nudity, no underwear-only and no revealing clothing;
- no other people are in the photo; and
- you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display the shared photo and your gain statistics on weightpop.com and in our own promotion of the Service, until you withdraw it. Every shared photo is reviewed before it appears, and we may decline or remove any photo at our discretion, including any that break these rules. You can withdraw a photo at any time in the app or by emailing us, and we will remove it from the site. Copies you have already posted elsewhere, for example on social media, are not under our control.
Progress cards. When you share a progress card to another app, you control where it goes. What you post there is subject to that service's rules.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, attempt to break or reverse engineer it, upload unlawful or offensive content, impersonate others, or share photos of other people. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
7. Third-party data
Nutrition data comes from USDA FoodData Central. We do our best to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it.
8. Apple
If you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or for support of it.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms, and will post the new date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
10. Disclaimer and limit of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any harm arising from your use of the meal or weight-gain suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account at rafriv84@icloud.com. See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted.
